Growing by Connection

Both Personal and Corporate spiritual growth are essential to the healthy development of a church.  Growth can take many forms: it may not be readily seen unless you look closely but still be deep and personal; it may be obvious; or, it may mean growth in physical numbers.   Perhaps all of these are important.  Just like branches of a tree get their sustenance by their connection to the root system, so the connections by which we are fed (ie. The Word, each other, teaching) help us to grow. Most importantly, rooted and built up in Jesus.

Here you will find some tools for the journey.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
