During the morning service there are two programs for children: Nursery for children from birth to age 3, and Sunday School for age 4 to 10 (grade 5).  Older children remain in the service in the sanctuary.

Each Sunday we meet at 10:30 am for worship and you will be greeted at the door by one of our folks who will give you a bulletin and answer any questions you might have about where areas are located in the building.

We are in a beautiful rural church and the atmosphere is friendly and fairly relaxed.  The service begins with some singing led by our Worship Band.  It is an opportune time for all of us to let go of our hectic week and bring our focus towards seeking God.  Following that an offering will be taken with the funds going to support various community and global projects the church members have placed as a priority, in addition to covering the salary for our pastor and the upkeep of our building.  There is generally a story for the children and then, oddly enough, we have a fellowship lunch in the middle of the service!  It is a brief (5 minute) opportunity to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, and greet some friends, old and new.  During this time and before the service begins, announcements for the week are projected at the front of the church.

The Pastor then leads in prayer, we stand together as we read a passage from the Bible in unison, and the Pastor shares the message God has laid on his heart.  The service ends by 12:00 noon with very few exceptions.

There is a paved parking area at the rear of the church, and a grassy area for overflow.  Regular attenders make a point of parking in the more distant spaces to allow guests to park nearer the doors.  Entry to the church may be gained either from the door on the road side of the building or, more often, up the back steps and through the small hallway to the sanctuary.  The accessible washroom is near the back door and there is space to hang coats at both entrances.

Our church is one of over 450 Baptist churches affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC).  A great deal of information about our beliefs can be found by visiting the CBAC website and here on our Home Page under Vision and Beliefs.  It is amazing how much more we can do together as an organization of Baptist Churches than we could ever do on our own.

You are welcome to visit our church any Sunday morning for the worship service at 10:30 am, and/or come to prayer meeting at 6:00 pm on the first Sunday of the month.
